Teens arrested after night of chaos in Sydney’s west

Two teenagers were arrested in Sydney’s west this morning after police believe three shootings, a car fire and a crash are linked. Police said officers tried to stop a white pickup truck on Willis Street in Rooty Hill about 2am. But the car failed to stop, sparking a pursuit that ended with the pickup truck crashing into a parked car on Willis Street.

A shooting has broken out at a barbershop in Mount Druitt in Sydney’s west. (9News) Two 17-year-old boys inside the shop were not injured and were arrested at the scene. Emergency crews were called to Football Drive in Bungarribee about 2.10am, where they found a car on fire. The fire was extinguished. Police were called to a shopping centre on North Avenue in Mount Druitt about 2.20am.

A car was found on fire in Bungarribee. (9News) They found several bullet holes in the window of a barber shop. After preliminary investigations, police believe the three incidents are related. The three 17-year-old boys are assisting with the investigation.
