Anthony has had a strong start to the World Cup season with one win and one runner-up finish.
What’s next?
Anthony is expected to resume playing next month.
Olympic champion Jakara Anthony will miss the next World Cup in Georgia after undergoing surgery for a broken collarbone.
Anthony started the season well, finishing second in Ruka, Finland, and then on the podium at Idler Pass, Sweden last weekend.

Australian Jakara Anthony beat French rival Perrine Laffont to win the second women’s moguls World Cup of the season in Sweden.
She fell and suffered a collarbone injury during a training session before the combined moguls competition in Sweden, but did not miss the event when the competition was canceled due to poor visibility.
Anthony’s agent Julia Brukner said: “Jakkara was injured during World Cup training in Idre Fjäll, which will prevent her from participating in the upcoming competition in Georgia.
“She underwent clavicle surgery in Oslo and will travel to Australia to begin rehabilitation.”
Anthony is expected to arrive in Melbourne early next week.
With this weekend’s World Cup race in the French Alps cancelled due to a lack of snow, Anthony’s next goal is to compete in Bakuriani, Georgia, on December 20-21.
The 26-year-old is looking to defend the singles and doubles Snow Hill titles she won last season in Georgia.
There is still more than a month until the next round of competitions in Waterville, USA on January 24-25, which gives Anthony time to recover.
Anthony and French skier Perrine Lafont won gold and silver in the first two races, respectively, and are now at the top of the World Cup standings with 180 points.
Australia performed well last season, winning 14 World Cup titles, but that was because 2018 Olympic champion Lafont missed a whole year.
