A 25-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Beau Deng in Fairfield. (NSW Police) During a search, Kerim Kurtoglou, 25, was arrested and charged with a number of offences, including being an accomplice to murder. Police allege Kurtoglou received a large sum of money to arrange five vehicles and a gun, which were allegedly used to shoot Deng in February. “Police will allege in court that this man was employed by an organised crime network .. to arrange vehicles and load them with bullets to kill Beau Deng,” said Detective Superintendent Danny Doherty of the homicide squad. “We believe this was part of a contract murder with a wider group of accomplices. ‘Organised crime murders require more than one person to be involved.”

His brother Duterte Deng is the alleged gunman who killed gangland boss Alan Moradian in a Bondi Junction car park last year. Kurtoglou did not apply for bail and appeared in Bankstown Court today. The investigation is continuing.
