Since European settlement, Australia's unique natural world has been under stress from invasive animals.
These introduced animals not only threaten our biodiversity and wreak havoc on our native habitats, they cost Australia around $24.5 billion a year, according to the CSIRO.
Unsuccessful eradication attempts mean, for now, many of these species are here to stay.
