A 74-year-old driver was left too shaken to call police after an e-scooter rider jumped on his bonnet and smashed his windscreen during a road rage attack in Melbourne. Police said the man was driving his Volkswagen Golf along Cotham Road at Kew about 12.15pm on November 18. The driver sounded his horn at an e-scooter rider, and what followed was “incredibly terrifying”, Victoria Police Senior Constable Callum Allchin said.
