Century-old Anzac memorial damaged in NSW park

An Anzac memorial statue was damaged this week in northern New South Wales, prompting a police appeal for information.Police were told yesterday that the marble statue, depicting a soldier, in Walgett Memorial Park on Fox Street, Walgett, had suffered some damage.They found its arm had been damaged and the marble rifle missing.
