A second person has been charged after a man was allegedly assaulted with a machete during an attempted robbery in Brisbane on Saturday morning.The 48-year-old was inside his car, on Audrey Street in Camp Hill, at 6am when he was approached by the pair, police say.The two men were allegedly armed with a machete and threatened the man, demanding his keys.

(Queensland Police)They left empty-handed from the victim's home, fleeing the scene in a Kia Sorrento before emergency services arrived.The Kia had allegedly been stolen from a property in Kangaroo Point and was found abandoned nearby.Police later confirmed the pair also stole two BMWs from a home just around the corner from the victim's home.One of those cars, a silver BMW320i, was seen by police in Margate just after midnight this morning and the driver allegedly evaded police and fled the area.The car was found not long afterwards, crashed into a fence in Redcliffe, and a 23-year-old man was arrested at the scene.He was charged with multiple driving and property offences.A 21-year-old man has already been arrested and charged over the incident.
