When will the Jai Opetaia vs David Nyika fight start?
As I’ve already said, fighting is well underway at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, but the card is quite a hefty one.
As such, don’t expect to see Jai Opetaia or David Nyika start their ring walk until at least 9:00pm local time, or 10:00pm AEST.
It could, in all honesty, be closer to 10:00pm local.
But look, that could change.

Fights are underway on the Gold Coast
We’re already into our third fight of the evening at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, and eight-round featherweight clash between Tony Ingram (6-0) and China’s Runqi Zhou (8-2-1).
It’s been good action so far.
Earlier we had two jockeys going at it at a 60kg catchweight bout, with Jag Guthmann-Chester beating Jai Williams by unanimous decision.
Then, we had a hugely entertaining majority draw between Albert Tu’ua and Kodi Shallali.
That was another very fun fight, with Tu’ua landing some savage blows, but Shallali got two knockdowns in the third round which saved the contest for him.
We’ll provide live coverage from 6:00pm local.
